Aidhmeanna na Scoile / School Aims
Ag Gaelscoil Neachtain, oibrímid le chéile chun atmasféar agus eiteas a chruthú a chuireann le cúram agus sabháilteacht de na páistí go léir. Aithnímid gur céadmhúinteoirí a bpáistí tuismitheoirí agus cuirimid fáilte ó chroí rompu agus molaimid do thuismitheoirí a bheith páirteach i léann na bpáistí.
Iarrann an fhoirean chun léann rathúil a chur ar fail agus chun dul i ngleic leis an mhíbhuntaiste sa dóigh is go mbaineann gach páiste a c(h)umas féin amach. Oibrímid chun ardchaighdeáin leanúnacha a chinntiú tríd an phleanáil, an cleachtadh, an measúnú agus an athmhachnamh.
Agus muid ag forbairt nascanna leis an phobal áitiúil agus taobh thall de, iarrann Gaelscoil Neachtain taithí cultúrtha is oideachasúil an pháiste, agus eolas an pháiste a shaibhriú.
Is áit í Gaelscoil Neachtain ina bhfuil an séimhe le mothú, áit a gcothaítear an dea-charachtar agus, in am, áit atá ag croílar den taca don phobal.
At Gaelscoil Neachtain, we recognise the spiritual, emotional, academic and physical needs of all children. We work together to create an atmosphere and ethos which contributes to their care, safety, well-being and learning.
We recognise the place of parents as their children’s first teachers and warmly welcome and actively encourage parents’ participation in their children’s learning. The staff work to provide successful learning and to tackle disadvantage so that every child can fulfil his / her potential.
We are committed to ensuring continuous high standards through planning, practice, assessment and reflection. By developing links with the local community and beyond, Gaelscoil Neachtain aims to enrich the children’s cultural and educational experience and knowledge.
Gaelscoil Neachtain aims to be a place of learning influenced by the Spirit, a place of kindness, a place where good character is fostered, and, in time, a hub for community support.
